The 2nd International Academic Forum for WoS Highly Cited Researchers (HCR2024) was successfully held in Huanghe Jiaotong University from March 8-10, 2024.

The forum was sponsored by Huanghe Jiaotong University, organized by Huanghe Jiaotong University and International Association of Management Science and Engineering Technology, co-organized by Henan Province Engineering Research Center for Biomass Value-added Products, Henan Province International Collaboration Lab of Forest Resources Utilization, School of Forestry, Henan Province Forest Resources Sustainable Development and High-value Utilization Engineering Research Center, and Shanxi Normal University, China. Conference Chairman is Prof. Wanxi Peng, and Executive Chairmen are President Shixiong Hu, Prof. Su Shiung Lam, Dr. Zhenling Liu.

Ms. Kristine Kuo, a Senior researcher from Malaysia with extensive experience in international journal development and management, shared with the participants a report entitled "Contrimetric: References/Citation as Quality Criteria for Scientific Papers". In her report, Contriemtric is a new discipline developed in parallel with Altmetric in recent years. Contribution Factor is a new bibliometrics index for academic evaluation from the perspective of papers, which can be applied in a large number of academic resources. Quickly find the academic papers that most need to be read and cited.

Prof. Octavian Adrian Postolache from ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal, a senior member of IEEE, gave a presentation entitled "Technical & Scientific Papers Publishing: from Content to Review". Dr. Vijayakumar Sahadevan, Editor-in-Chief of EI Journal, shared with the participants the report entitled "High Quality Manuscripts Preparation & Review for Scientific Journal Publishing".
Online Invited Reporters
The presentations of the invited speakers can be introduced from the forefront of the discipline, or they can share practical skills from the practice of paper writing. In terms of the writing and publication of high-quality academic papers, editors and chief editors can improve the writing skills of scholars.
